[Game Review] Continent of the Ninth

Hey Guys! I'm back again for the continuation of Game Review. Earlier today I told you about a brief summary(lack of information) about "C9". Well since I got it running on my desktop, and not my laptop *le cries* I've got to say the graphics isn't as bad as I thought it would be. The graphics was so tremendous! I mean look at this.

By the way this is my character, Dianneski, she's a Witchblade. If you want to add me up in game feel free to do so. I'm at US server by the way. Just be sure to introduce yourselves as blogger, I might mistake you guys for some weird strangers.

Back to the topic, as I was saying the graphics is realistic, every detail is fine, no flaws. The gameplay has a striking similarity of "Dragon Nest" mixed with "Rusty Hearts" and I forgot to mention "Vindictus" (which wont let me play because of IP Block) as I've told you guys before it's a Hack n Slash game + Combo skills.
The game is very easy to play, until you reach your end game--which is very difficult obviously. You 'will' need teammates along with you when you reach a certain level where you need teammates to fight off a Big Boss. Because like I said C9 has stricking similarity with "DN" "RH" and "Vindictus" both have Dungeon raiding and etc.

There are four playable characters in the game. A Warrior, Hunter, Shaman and WitchBlade.

And there is a 2nd job change system, All characters can change its job twice in level 10 and level 20. The first job change is for the reinforcement purpose, and the second job is to specialize your character with style.

[Game News] Download done, Installing a new game!!

Hey guys! DizzyDC here~ ready for some daily news blog? no? Well then go have some coffee first at the nearest Starbucks!

Alrighty then, if you're reading this then that means you just got back from Starbucks and got trolled by me. Nah, just kidding.
So anyway-- where was I? Oh yeah, I was suppose to tell you guys that I got back from Star--I mean School. Before I leave for school earlier this morning, I set-up my laptop to "torrent mode" and downloaded this game that I was waiting for quite a long time now, it's already in Open Beta so I don't have to worry about wipe-out's.

This game that I've been talking about is "Continental of the Ninth" or "C9" for short. Actually, what I read a couple of months back-- at that time the game was still in TBA, it's a hack n slash type of game and that's it.
And to tell you the truth I haven't seen the actual gameplay of it. Maybe I'll check it out before I login to the game. Currently it's still patching so, yeah... still have to wait for it to finish. I hope my laptop can handle it, or else I have to install it in my desktop.

Anyhow I'll just inform you guys if the patch is already done, and have gone through some tutorials and such. For now I'll make myself busy for the new background pic so that you guys won't have eye problems just because my blog. Bye for now~ ciaosuu~♥

[Game Reviews] Dragon Nes

Ahh~ It's been a while that I've reviewed games like this so anyway, What we're going to review is Dragon Nest, what are the Pros and Cons and some tips on leveling your character. I know that a lot of you have played Dragon Nest right? It's new and It's trendy these days so once you mentioned it peoples minds will say "Ahh I've played that game~ what server are you?" something like that.


Dragon Nest is a hack n slash game where you can level on dungeons only it's not the type of MMORPG where you can level on monsters in different maps like World of Warcraft.It's very anime-ish and 3-D. NPC's here can talk but very limited like "Good Work" or "Hi There" sometimes there's a cut scene during boss stage, Expressions can be quite entertaining the dances there are based on Kpop depending on the class that you choose. And you can level through questing which is very easy to accomplish. The game is pretty easy to handle, even a starter can level up to 24 in just a matter of weeks or days.
so Pros and Cons~


Pros:
The game has a great graphics and also the fighting styles, combos and skills effects. More cool upcoming updates soon so be prepared. Can adjust difficulty from easy to abyss. Party consist of 4 players only. Players can choose whether to go solo or to group with other fellow players Dungeon raids can be done with a party member (much faster leveling than solo flight) and can be done with solo since this game is solo friendly. They give gifts every time you level up some are seasonal like Halloween stuffs. Spending real money on this game is not necessarily important, you can always farm through dungeons and sell them via auction. If you're a hard worker then you can make 100 gold in less than a week or maybe even days.


Cons:
There are someday's that you can get in the game easily, sometimes on the server selection a window will pop out and says waiting then no. of people. There are only 4 classes to choose from so it's pretty limited plus it's a gender specific classes, it means that you cant choose which gender you like the best. The only way to level faster is to repeat dungeons that gives you good EXP so it's very tedious.


So my overall rating is 6/10 because it still has bugs and not that unique compared to other fighting games.


Here are some tips and tricks to help you through the game


In the start of the game you can level up very fast via questing and dungeon. and here's a friendly tip after reaching level 12 up you can do commission quests beside every dungeon except low level dungeons. After reaching 14 or 16 finish all the commission quests on the temple of sleepers leaving only the masters quest this is a repeatable quest. Every masters quest is repeatable not only temple of sleepers. Some commission quests can give you a total of 20 to 30k EXP so don't miss that out.


Then farming. you can farm rough agate in the Sanctuary Core. If you go for Rough Agate only then it'll take 4 minutes to finish the whole dungeon using a Force User. If your a mercenary like me you are required to have atleast a party member. Soloing Sanctuary Core using mercenary may require high end enhancements or good items in hand and must be high level. You can farm at the resting place because of the Tears of the Soul I think it sells for 3G+ each if I'm not mistaken and Poison Pills from the boss. If your character is on the average side or you like solo. Then you can farm Green items and Blue items. If you have tons of Green Items and you don't know where to use it, Don't throw it or leave it there. Enhance it to +8 then sell it to the auction, you have to check the pricing of that item If it's 3 gold then your stats is better than the lowest price sell it for 3 gold, I guarantee you that that item will be sold within the day. Blue items are not required to do enhancements but if you have better luck in enhancing and have Rough Agates then enhance. But I recommend you to not. Sell the Rough Agates and the non-enhanced Blue Items it is better this way.

Oh yeah almost forgot don't forget to read the latest manga update on Noblesse I can guarantee you it's hilarious trust me. And right now I'm reading Defense Devil~ I'm starting to like this manga because of the Comedy and Crime investigations too bad they already finished the whole thing... Sigh... I'm still at chapter 15 (I'm a slow reader what can I do xD) Anyways it's a long weekend so I might as well enjoy it while it lasts, Currently my weekend isn't going too well from what I was expecting. I can't play Rusty Hearts due to the bug that I can't do anything, Can't do dungeon raids because of the bug plus my HP and MP gauge meter isn't showing up just numbers -.- quite frustrating~ Right now I'm downloading Dragon Nest SEA next time I'll be reviewing two Hack n Slash games after the Rusty Hearts became Open Beta. So it will be Rusty Hearts vs Dragon Nest SEA.

[News] Rusty Hearts Closed Beta is now live!!

Heya guys! Have ya heard bout the Rusty Hearts? No? Lemme tell ya a little info on that for those who are hardcore hack-n-slash lovers.

Rusty Hearts is a side-scrolling game and a 3D Anime-ish graphics with a fast-paced gameplay with a mix of beat-em-up games like Mini-Fighters.Cel-shaded characters, beautiful background and seamless cut scenes and more. It was developed Perfect World one of the most famous MMO developers in history one of those are the Chinese Folk-Lore "Perfect World International", "Forsaken World" it was followed by  "Battle of the Immortals", "Ether Saga" and lastly "Rusty Hearts". Rusty Hearts was inspired by a manga and anime. This is one of my most highly anticipated games of 2011. But Perfect World Entertainment isn't the only one who developed this. Originally it was developed from Korea which went into a open beta (lucky). There will be solo or team-based dungeon raids, lot's of cool events, various PvP to suit every taste including Arena, Guild Battle, Tournament System and more, Quest's (my favorite part of the game), etc.


It's very similar to Kingdom Hearts, Devil May Cry, Dark Siders, Prototype ~


Lets not forget about our Heroes of Rusty Hearts

Frantz Kruger- A gloomy man from the start, his life took a turn for the worse when he was bitten by a vampire.


I like his character from the very start, I like his hair, his clothes. His character resembles Zero Kiryuu from Vampire Knight same story they're life was ruined by a vampire.


He wields Swords and Axes so this is a melee type of character. So in other words his like an assaulter in the battle field.

Next is Angela

Basically it's very obvious that there is no party without a  Mage. she wields magic swords and magic scythe. Overall since she's a Mage let's say she's a good PvP and AoE damager~ it's perfect for those who are magic type users.

and Lastly Tude Macleod

His story is similar to Frantz but... the only difference between them is Tude was bitten by a werewolf. That's why he covered his left arm with a bulky gauntlet to his werewolf arm. You might think that he's more of a damager but he can also tank at the same time making him a good character for starters.


The requirements to play this game is At a minimum, the game will run with the following specs: a processor such as the Pentium 4 1.4 GHz, 1GB of RAM and a video card with 128 MB of RAM, but to get the best experience possible, we recommend that you use an Intel Core2 Duo 2.5 GHz, 2GB of RAM and a video card with 256MB of RAM.

[Game Review] The Sims Social

Probably you know about The Sims right? Yeah, Obviously Everyone knows what The Sims is, it is a very addictive game if your into strategic games like this. In The Sims Social you can play it on your own Facebook account yeah you heard that right! Buuuut, It's still in a close beta :( I've seen some photos taken from lucky close beta testers it seems like a good game. This will be my most anticipated game if ever this comes out early hahaha here are some screen shots from the players.

It's more like Sims 4 to me but more cartoony. Since it's not 3D I guess I can play a little longer than The Sims 4, 3D somehow makes me feel Dizzy you know~ the thing that makes you wanna puke and so much head ache goin' on. anyway you can check their page if you have time http://www.facebook.com/TheSimsSocial?sk=wall you can also like them for updates on your fb wall etc. currently they reached 800k their next target is 1m.
